Key information:

• Tour cost is $2,450 USD / £1,800  per person, based on sharing a twin room with another member of the group

• Deposit payment is $1,000 / £770

• Deposit payment date is 11th October

• Balance due 90 days prior to departure

• The same tour will be run twice, back to back

• 8 spaces available per tour

• Tour 1 start date is Sunday 25th May 2025

• Tour 2 start date is Sunday 1st June 2025

• Tour is 7 nights, 1 in Zurich, 6 in Wengen

• Includes train from Zurich to Wengen, travel pass for all mountain trains & cable cars (special journeys like Jungfraujoch aren't included) 

• Meals included: 7 breakfasts

• Flights are not included

• Train back to Zurich not included in case people want to continue their Switzerland / European journey

Plan for the trip:

​

• Day 1 - Meet in Zurich and enjoy a night in the old town

• Day 2 - Travel to Wengen in the morning, then in the afternoon take the cable car up the Männlichen, for a relatively flat afternoon hike 

• Days 3-5 - Weather permitting we'll do 3 of my favourite hikes in the region

• Day 6 - Day trip to Kandersteg and hike & swim at Oeschinensee

• Day 7 - Day to do optional activities at own cost (eg. paragliding, Jungfraujoch) or do another hike

• Please note, this is a hiking trip

• Most of the hikes will be around 10 miles / 16km and will include ascents of up to 3,280 ft or 1,000 metres 

• This is an ideal itinerary based on good weather, we may have to adapt, there's lots of alternate hikes and activities on offer if the weather doesn't behave. 

• Weather in the mountains can change very quickly, I've been there when the forecast was thunderstorms for 5 days and I ended up with nothing but sunshine for 5 days
